Beautiful, large 30" by 39 1/2" display of ticket stubs from all 7 games of the historic 1960 World Series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the New York Yankees. The 1960 fall classic, one of if not the most exciting contests in major league history, went down to the final inning of the final game when Bill Mazeroski belted his solo home run off Yankee Ralph Terry to bring the World Championship to Pittsburgh. The Yankees dominated the offensive statistics in every batting and pitching category but could not put away the pesky Pirates. Display features all 7 ticket stubs surrounding a 15 1/2" by 20 1/2" limited edition signed photo of Mazeroski's blast looking straight down the 3rd base line toward left field. Entitled "The Big Hit" and numbered 77/1000 the photo has been signed by Bill Mazeroski, as well as Yankees Johnny Blanchard (catcher), Gil McDougald (3rd base), and Yogi Berra (left field). Framed and ready to be hung in your home. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
