May 14th, 1972 signed Roberto Clemente personal check made out to his wife, Luisa. Sadly the outstanding Pittsburgh Pirate Hall of Famer and humanitarian would pass away just months later in a tragic plane crash. Strong blue ink 8/10 looking signature. Blue ink bank cancellation does hit the front part of Clemente's signature. Check in great shape except for a stain/discoloration covering the lower left corner. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA.
