Founded in 1946 the Lakers are one of the NBA's most famous and successful franchises. As of 2006 the Lakers hold the all-time records for wins (2806) winning percentage (61.5%) and NBA Finals appearances (28). The Lakers have won 14 NBA titles second only to the Boston Celtics' 16. This 27" by 22-1/2" framed display includes an actual piece of 8" by 12" Forum floor and five cut signatures of the greats who played on that floor. Cut signatures from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Wilt Chamberlain Jerry West Magic Johnson and Elgin Baylor have been matted into the display along with a collage shot of all 5 in the top right. The Chamberlain signature is light rating a 3-4/10 while the other four are dark bold and 9/10 minimally. A small plaque below the floor piece lists the six Lakers championship years their overall home court record and limited edition number of the piece #368/2000. The frame does have a bit of damage on the bottom left corner but is otherwise ready to hang. LOA from the Los Angeles Lakers and photo of where the floor piece was removed from come with this piece.
