This powder blue knit pullover garment shows "BROCK" on the back in red-on-black tackle twill lettering. The player's number "20" is present on the back and both sleeves and the team's familiar embroidered emblem graces the front of the piece. Trimming the v-neck and arm openings are red, white and navy stripes. Sewn to the interior right front tail is a Rawlings label that reveals the garment's size "40." The accompanying flag tag shows "SET 1 1979." Medium use is evident with identifier puckering, solid label wear and a small light brown stain near the upper right shoulder. Brock has signed the front in large black marker. Recognized as one of the most gifted baserunners in baseball, Lou Brock helped to revolutionize the art and science of this element of the game as he totaled 938 stolen bases during his 19-year career. A six-time All-Star selection, Brock also accumulated more than 3,000 hits to help lead the St. Louis Cardinals to three National League pennants and two World Series championships. Brock knit jerseys from this era are notably scarce.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
