Nice grouping of five team-signed baseballs between 1966 and 1971.
1966 San Francisco Giants (93-68, 2nd place NL pennant): 26 signatures on cream-colored ONL (Giles) baseball including Willie Mays (HOF), Willie McCovey (HOF), Juan Marichal (HOF)(SS), and Gaylord Perry (HOF) as well as notables Tito Fuentes Jim Ray Hart, Jesus Alou, Tom Haller, Dick Dietz and Hal Lanier. Manager Herman Franks stamped on sweet spot. All but two signatures come in uniformly faded 5-6/10 black ballpoint; Dietz and unidentified signed in bolder 8/10 black ballpoint.
1971 San Francisco Giants (90-72, NL West Division Champs): 15 signatures on lightly brown spotted ONL (Feeney) baseball. Notables include manager Charlie Fox (SS), Gaylord Perry (HOF), Bobby Bonds, Tito Fuentes, Dick Dietz, Hal Lanier, etc. All but two signatures comes in faded blue or black ballpoint ranging 4-6 in strength; blue Steve Hamilton and black Ron Bryant are 8-9/10. Willie Mays deemed Clubhouse by PSA/DNA.
1968 Los Angeles Dodgers (76-86, 7th NL): 17 signatures on cream-colored ONL (Giles) baseball including Don Drysdale (HOF), manager Walter Alston (HOF)(SS), Rocky Colavito, Willie Davis, Ron Fairly, Jim Lefebvre, Claude Osteen, Jeff Torborg, Jim Brewer, Bob Bailey, etc. Most come in 8/10 black ballpoint, with the others in 4-6 range.
1969 Los Angeles Dodgers (85-77, 4th NL): 19 signatures on nice cream-colored ONL (Giles) baseball including Don Sutton (HOF), manager Walter Alston (HOF)(SS), Steve Garvey, Maury Wills, Willie Davis, Manny Mota, Andy Kosco, Bill Sudakis, Claude Osteen, Jim Brewer, etc. All come in lovely 8-9/10 blue ballpoint.
1968 Atlanta Braves (81-81, 5th NL): 19 signatures on lightly toned ONL (Giles) baseball including Hank Aaron (HOF), manager Lum Harris (SS), Joe Torre (twice), Clete Boyer, Felipe Alou, Tito Francona, Milt Pappas, Sonny Jackson, etc. Five come in 7/10 blue ballpoint, Aaron in 6/10 black, and the rest in faded black 4-5 range.
