This lot contains the single-signed bats of five ballplayers (three Hall of Famers) who each made their own indelible mark on the game: 3-time A.L. MVP Yogi Berra called the pitches for 10 Yankees World Championships; Willie Stargell was the driving force behind two Pittsburgh World Championships; Mike Schmidt was a 3-time MVP winner who was pure perfection both at bat and in the field; Steve Garvey was the ultimate clutch man, winning two NLCS and two All-Star Game MVP Awards; Graig Nettles retired with two World Series rings and the A.L. record for most home runs by third-baseman.

The Yogi Berra bat appears to be a 1960’s Louisville Slugger store model. He has signed the bat in 8/10 blue ink on the back side of the barrel. Stargell’s bat is an early 1980’s Louisville Slugger show style signed by Pops in 9/10 blue fine-point marker just below his engraved name on the barrel. The Mike Schmidt lumber is an Rawlings Adirondack “Big Stick” that Schmidt has signed in 8/10 black marker to the left of his engraved name on the barrel. Both the Garvey (C243) and Nettles (S44) bats are 1980’s Louisville Slugger pro models that both players have signed in 9-10/10 black marker next to their engraved names on the barrels.

Includes letter of provenance from the daughter of a longtime MLB executive whose name will be revealed to the winning bidder. Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
