One of the most prestigious clubs a major leaguer can ever hope to join is baseball’s elite “500 Home Run Club.” It currently has just 26 members, so for a player to gain entry to this upper stratosphere he must be able to pack plenty of power behind his swing. This lot includes five of its impressive members: Ernie Banks (512 home runs), Mickey Mantle (536), Harmon Killebrew (583), Frank Robinson (586) and “Hammerin Hank” Aaron (752). Four of the players have signed their respective baseballs in blue ink on the sweet spot, while Mantle signed his baseball on the sweet spot with a black pen. Only Killebrew’s baseball sports an added inscription: “HOF ’84.” All signatures rate 9/10.
Includes Letter of Authenticity from the Skowron Family. Also includes 5 Certificates of Authenticity signed by Bill "Moose" Skowron, one for each ball. "Moose" appeared at dozens of autograph shows in the 1980's with Mickey Mantle and other Yankee greats.
