The St. Louis Cardinals organization has produced 11 World Series championship teams and 19 National League pennant winners. One of baseball’s most storied franchises, the Cardinals have also produced their fair share of Hall of Famers. Four such standouts comprise this lot of four single-signed baseballs: Stan Musial, Johnny Mize, Lou Brock and Bob Gibson. “Stan the Man” Musial launched 475 homers during his career, while Mize was a career .312 batter with 359 round-trippers to his credit. Brock, meanwhile, was a member of the 3,000 hit club who also swiped a then-record 938 stolen bases. As for Gibson, he was an intimidating pitcher who racked up 251 career wins and 3,117 strikeouts to go along with a pair of N.L. Cy Young awards (1968 and ’70). All four signatures are squarely centered on their respective sweet spots and all are in blue ink, rating a strong 9/10.
