No franchise in the history of sports – outside of the NBA’s Boston Celtics, perhaps – has dominated a sports league quite like the New York Yankees of the 1950s and ‘60s. Those Bronx Bomber teams won a total of 13 American League pennants and eight World Series titles during that 20-year span. Yankee standouts like pitcher Whitey Ford and catcher Yogi Berra blossomed during this time as did a popular first baseman that went by the name of Bill “Moose” Skowron. This lot includes four team-signed baseballs from Yankee squads during that time period. Each one of the baseballs – one A.L. (Budig) version and three OML (Selig) baseballs – has been signed in blue ink and all four have Berra’s signature on the sweet spot. Other notable names on the baseballs include Don Larsen, Tony Kubek, Hank Bauer, Johnny Sain, John Blanchard and, of course, Ford and Skowron. All autographs are solid and rate 8-9/10.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

Includes Letter of Authenticity from the Skowron Family.
