This lot includes three color illustrations by a sports artist named D. Naughton who has captured a trio of USC Trojans football giants in action: head coach John Robinson, along with Heisman Trophy winning running backs Charles White and Marcus Allen. Each of the limited-edition prints measure 24” wide by 18” high and have been signed by both the subject as well as the artist in pencil. The Coach Robinson print is entitled “The Pride of SC” and is numbered 14/1000; the Charles White print is entitled “Crosstown Showdown” and shows White gaining yardage against UCLA (#14/1000); and the Marcus Allen illustration is called “Running For Daylight” (#7/375). A superb collection of three formidable USC greats.
