This lot fairly bellows for the attention of advanced Negro leagues collectors. Here are three stunning full-color First-Day Covers of three giants from Negro league history, each with an unimprovable 8/10 to 9/10 signature from Satchel Paige, Buck Leonard and Monte Irvin. The Paige FDC (indeed, all three) boasts Nr-Mt condition showcasing attractive artwork, with Paige's blue ballpoint signature alongside a 1979 Cooperstown Post Office cancellation. The Buck Leonard FDC is postmarked 1983 in Chicago with a Jackie Robinson 20-Cent stamp; Irvin's FDC has the Cooperstown postmark from 1989 and a 25-Cent Lou Gehrig stamp.
