Between 1949 and 1955, the Los Angeles Rams played in the NFL championship game four times, winning once (1951). During this period, they had the best offense in the NFL, led by quarterbacks Bob Waterfield and Norm Van Brocklin, the latter starting in 1951. From 1946 to 1979, the Rams played all of their home games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. This lot includes three different team pennants during the decade of the '50s using color combinations of blue, white and gold, blue and gold and blue and white. The team mascot and its large horns are omnipresent. Each of the pennants measures 29” long.
