“Hammerin’ Hank” Aaron was the major leaguer who broke Babe Ruth’s longstanding career home run mark of 714 round-trippers. As a longtime member of the Braves, starting with the team in Milwaukee in 1954 and ending with them in Atlanta in 1974, Aaron broke Ruth’s record on April 8, 1974. He went on to hit 40 more home runs, including 22 with the Milwaukee Braves in 1975 and ’76, to close his career with a new MLB record of 755. Aaron’s mark stood until Barry Bonds of the Giants broke it on the night of August 7, 2007, at San Francisco's AT&T Park. This lot includes 10 Official American Association Wilson leather baseballs with Hank Aaron’s signature in blue ink on the sweet spot of each baseball. Though three of the baseballs are starting to yellow slightly, each of the autographs are solid and rate 8-9/10. A superb collection of signed baseballs from one of baseball’s all-time greats!

Includes Letter of Authenticity from the Skowron Family. Also includes Certificate of Authenticity signed by Bill "Moose" Skowron, who appeared at dozens of autograph shows in the 1980's.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
