Intriguing pair of collages featuring autograph cuts from 39 different US Senators from the 76th Congress in 1939, an august group that includes future President of the United States Harry Truman and legendary Georgia Senator Richard Russell. The autograph cuts are in an extraordinary variety of shapes and even paper colors (white, cream, gold, green, and yellow) and a similar eclectic range of dimensions, averaging about one of two inches by five inches across. The Truman cut is an odd-shaped 4.5-by-2 inches on light green paper and dominates the larger framed piece that is framed to 17.5-by-14.5 inches. The Russell signature appears on the smaller piece (15.5-by-12.5 inches), which also features a thin plastic cover that has yellowed somewhat over time. The signatures can range from heavily faded 3/10, but only a handful fall to that level; most are 6;/10 to 9/10.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
