Two of the greatest hurlers of the prewar era are handsomely depicted here with matching 3-by-5 cards signed in black Sharpie (8/10 to 9/10), with Carl Hubbell and Lefty Grove signatures neatly stacked and surrounded by intricate blue-and-white matting and a one-inch white frame that brings the piece's dimensions to 19.5-by-15.5 inches. The 3-by-5 cards are nicely complemented by a wonderful 7-by-10-inch reproduction of artwork showing Hubbell and Grove shaking hands in the dugout.
