Featured here are Rudy Tomjanovich's game worn and signed canvas sneakers from the 1970's. Before Rudy T coached the Houston Rockets to back-to-back NBA titles in the 1990's, he was an All-Star forward for the franchise. The 2nd pick in the 1970 NBA draft out of the University of Michigan averaged over 17 points and 8 rebounds per game during his 11-year NBA career. He should end up in the Hall of Fame someday. These Nike 'RUDY T' signature model size 13 low-top shoes are white with the red Swoosh logo and come with what looks to be their original laces. Rudy has signed each shoe on their right sides in thick bold black marker that still rates 8-9/10. They show significant wear throughout, yet have been well-preserved and come essentially as-issued and problem-free.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

Includes Letter of Provenance from collector Bruce Tennen.

Bruce Tennen's passion for Tigers baseball as a boy eventually lead him to pursue a career in the sports industry, covering Arizona teams as an AP journalist in the late 70’s and working in the front office for the San Diego Clippers in the early 80’s. He would later move on to a successful career in mortgage banking, arranging credit and acquisition funding for numerous Pistons players, executives and broadcasters. Bruce has been fortunate enough to build relationships with dozens of professional athletes and team executives, giving him the connections necessary to build his impressive collection.
