Wonderful example of 1960's Texas Western Togo Railey game-worn fleece pants from a member of the team that startled the basketball world in 1966 as the first-ever starting five of black players defeated perennial powerhouse Kentucky in the NCAA Finals. These off-white fleece pants are in superb condition for an item of light color and exotic fabric that so easily shows the slightest wear or dirt. Waistband has Powers Athletic Wear tagging and Railey's No. is stitched on the left hip in orange and gold next to the piping. Pants have been exquisitely preserved and would have to be described as excellent even in the face of a couple of spots where the smallest dirt accumulations are revealed.
