Rare 2009 gamer from Kurt Warner's last season in the NFL, a notable one in which he accomplished two historic feats. He became the 1st QB in NFL history with 14,000 passing yards for two different teams (Rams & Cardinals) and the 2nd QB ever to throw 100 TD passes for two different teams (other is Fran Tarkington). Without a doubt, the highlight of the 2009 season for Warner was his memorable performance in an NFC Wild Card playoff game on January 10, 2010. He completed 29 of 33 passes for 379 yards with more TD passes (5) than incompletions (4) in a 51–45 shootout victory over Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. It remains the most combined points ever scored in a playoff game. Warner would officially announce his retirement 19 days later. He ended his career a perfect 7-0 in home playoff games (4-0 with Rams & 3-0 with Cardinals).
The size 48 Reebok white jersey with the 'C' patch on the front for Breast Cancer Awareness means that Warner most likely wore it on the road during the month of October. Mostly white mesh jersey with smooth red nylon paneling on sleeves, along sides and on upper back. Large number '13' on front and back in red tackle twill. Warner has signed the '1' on the back in thick black marker. His number '13' is stitched in white on shoulders and Reebok logo patch on sleeves. NFL Equipment logo patch below neck and 'CARDINALS' patch on upper chest. Just to left on chest is pink cancer patch. On back is 'WARNER' stitched in white tackle twill on red nameplate with Cardinals logo patch just above it. '09-48' tagging sewn inside neck indicates year worn and size.
There is significant game use. The neck is dirty and slightly blood-stained. A small blood stain appears on the back down where the jersey would be tucked in. Just left of the signed '1' on the back is a 1-2" team repair of the white nylon mesh. On the back right side next to the black lining are three light blue marks perhaps from an opposing player's helmet/jersey or paint on the grass/turf rubbing off.
Comes with a COA from the National Football League and PSA/DNA.
