On April 13, 2016, The L.A. Lakers took on the Utah Jazz who were battling for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. If the Jazz were to lose, they would be eliminated from the playoffs. In classic Kobe fashion, he went on a one-man rampage and led the Lakers to victory in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. He went 22-for-50 from the floor en route to 60 points, with 23 coming in the fourth. This special night was Kobe's way of saying thank you to NBA fans and to show the world that he could still dominate even at 38 years old.
This special offering is a Kobe Bryant autographed Spalding Official NBA (Silver) "Game Ball Series" basketball, which according to the accompanying team letter was "given away by The Los Angeles Lakers, Inc. at Kobe's final game on April 13, 2016." Kobe's signature comes in 8-9/10 silver marker just above the Spalding logo panel. Includes Lakers LOA with matching hologram sticker. Autograph is pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
