Kobe Bryant's ridiculous 35.4 points per game during the 2005-06 NBA season helped the Los Angeles Lakers get a playoff spot with the seventh seed in the Western Conference. Bryant's most memorable performance of the season would also go down in history as the second best scoring performance since Wilt Chamberlain's famous 100 point game.  The Black Mamba torched the Toronto Raptors for 81 points on January 22, 2006.  The Lakers trailed by 14 at the half against a Raptors team that held a measly 14-27 record at the time. Kobe was so disgusted that he decided to strap the likes of Lamar Odom, Chris Mihm, Kwame Brown and Smush Parker on his back and take them to victory.  Kobe shot an incredible 28-46 from the field and added 18-20 from the free throw line along with 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

This offering is a Spalding Basketball signed and inscribed by Kobe Bryant. Kobe's signature is in silver marker on the left above the Spalding log. The inscription, "81 Pts 1/22/06" is off to the right above the Spalding logo. This piece is a nice commemoration of the second greatest scoring performance in NBA history. Accompanied by a Panini COA and in Panini Packaging. Kobe's autograph has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
