This Rawlings infielder’s glove was acquired by our consignor, a longtime collector of Twins memorabilia exclusively, from a former batboy and friend of Puckett’s. It is further attributed to Kirby Puckett based on the distinctive style of the written notation “PUCK” and uniform number “34” in black marker. These notations match numerous game used bats and other verified Puckett memorabilia seen in the marketplace.

Known primarily as a centerfielder, a position at which he won six Gold Glove awards, Kirby did log parts of 11 games at three infield positions during his career. All of these games were in the 1990, 1992, and 1995 seasons. He almost certainly put in a fair amount of infield practice throughout his career as well. The offered glove shows substantial usage wear indicating as much. An unusual piece of game used memorabilia from the Minnesota baseball icon.
