A month after the beloved "Iron Horse" succumbed to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis at age 37, a memorial was held July 4, 1941 at Yankee Stadium to honor Gehrig and dedicate a monument to him in Memorial Park, behind center field of the stadium. His became the 2nd to be erected, joining the one in place for former manager Miller Huggins. Babe Ruth would follow in 1949. The offered stub has soiling and wear to both the front and the back. Multiple small creases are present all around the edges. Corners are about VG. An historic ticket celebrating the life of one of the Greatest to ever play the game. Slabbed AUTHENTIC by PSA.
