Circa 1986 Julius "Dr. J" Erving game worn Philadelphia 76ers home warm-up suit from the twilight of his prolific career shows solid usage wear. White Sand-Knit warm-up jacket features embroidered 76ers logo at chest and "SIXERS" on the verso. Pants are of the tearaway variety and both pieces feature matching exclusive Sand-Knit labeling. Erving’s uniform number “6” is written in black marker on the inside back collar of the jacket, as well as on the Sand-Knit (size 44) label inside the jacket’s bottom front button flap and on the Sand-Knit Exclusive Philadelphia 76ers label in the waistband of the pants. Areas of very light discoloration appear on both pieces. Erving has signed both pieces on the front in black sharpie. This is a virtually unimprovable Sixers warm-up worn and kept by that teams all-time greatest star.
