The 1981 NBA All-Star Game saw the East eek out a slim 123-120 win over the West at Richfield Coliseum. Nate “Tiny” Archibald finished with just nine points and nine assists, but it was his mastery of the game's tempo that kept the West at bay and earned him MVP honors. Offensively, the East was led by a solid game from Julius Erving (18 points) in his fifth consecutive All-Star performance.

Erving’s full 1981 All-Star uniform is completely original and unaltered. Both the jersey and shorts feature matching “Medalist Sand Knit” manufacturer’s tagging. The jersey tag is accompanied by an additional “3” LB” tag on the front tail denoting extra length. Erving’s uniform number “6” is written in black marker on the tag inside the waistband of the shorts. On the left hip of the shorts is the NBA 35th Anniversary embroidered patch. All lettering, numbers and star adornments are screened on except the aforementioned patch on the shorts and the player name “Erving” on back, which is stitched on. Erving has signed the front of both the jersey and the shorts in black sharpie. Appropriate light game wear is evident on both items with the only notable condition flaw being some wear on the front number of the jersey.

Includes a signed LOA from Julius Erving.
