MLB slugger Josh Hamilton signed a five-year, $125 million deal with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Dec. 13, 2012. A special press conference was held two days later at which Hamilton answered questions about the signing and enjoyed a photo op with Angels owner Arte Moreno. This lot includes the 2002 Angels practice jersey Josh Hamilton held up and later put on during the official presser (see photo attached). The 100% polyester Authentic Collection Majestic jersey (size 52) is red and includes “ANGELS” stitched across the front and Hamilton’s trademark No. 32 stitched across the front and back. His last name (“HAMILTON”) is stitched across the back of the jersey in semi-circle fashion. An important piece of Angels history as the perennial American League contenders try to make it back to the World Series. The consignor received this piece from an inside source who works directly with the team.
