Ball has been signed in near perfect looking 9/10 black felt tip pen by Basketball Hall of Fame Coach Dean Smith of the University of North Carolina. The ball was a centerpiece at one of the tables at the banquet. Mikasa ball stamped on one side "The Los Angeles Athletic Club The John R. Wooden Award Presented by imagyn Medical Technologies Inc.".
