Ten years removed from their last World Series appearance, the 1993 Philadelphia Phillies returned to the Fall Classic by overcoming the mighty Atlanta Braves in the NLCS. The grueling six-game series saw the Phils win two games in extra innings. Led by .300-plus hitters John Kruk and Lenny Dykstra, the Phillies' playoff run was fueled by stellar pitching, as well. This Size 10 Balfour 10k gold N.L. Championship ring features a thick band and showy surface that boasts an infield display on which a cz stones-comprised pitcher's mound is surrounded by red-colored stones to represent each base and home plate. Surrounding is a scattering of tiny additional cz stones. Outlining the jewels is a raised lettering proclamation of "Phillies" (in cursive) and "NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS." Proudly exhibited on one side of the band in raised characters is "1993" and a trophy image that is flanked by "4" and "2," respectively, below a Phillies "P" and an Atlanta "A." The band's other side features "Kruk" above a Phillies’ Liberty Bell logo and the Kruk’s No. 29. Engraved within the band is "Balfour 10K." This Near-Mint condition prize is a spectacular memento of championship baseball in the City of Brotherly Love. Comes in an attractive white cloth presentation box that presents in Ex-Mt condition.
