This is a truly unique piece, a brushed-silver 5-by-7-inch representation of a Boston Garden Sport News front page from 1963 that foretold of the arrival of John Havlicek to the Boston Celtics family. The "front page" features a photograph of Havlicek and a paragraph retelling of his high school and college exploits in basketball, football and baseball prior to coming to Boston. The silver piece is mounted to a 7-by-9-inch wood board; a large, bold, black Sharpie autograph appears on the wood area above the silver piece. A small nameplate attached to the back of the board says "to the 'Bouncing Buckeye,' Made and Presented by Bob Clark and fans at Aspen Trophies." All elements appear to be in as-issued and problem-free condition. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
