Worn in the 1984 Schick NBA Legends Game, the first such contest since earlier attempts in 1957 and 1964, the series would continue for a decade before being abandoned by the league. A wonderful piece of YouTube video shows a couple of minutes of the historic game in living color, as we used to call it, including John Havlicek wearing his jersey as he revived the old magic a half dozen years after retiring from the game.

The Size 44 Sandknit blue jersey has a stunning Havlicek autograph in blazing black Sharpie atop the "7" from the silk-screened white number on the back. The jersey and the Size 34 Sand-Knit shorts couldn't be in more spectacular shape, starting with the intricate red-and-white silk-screened elements that range from the "NBA Old-Timers, 17, Schick/AA" on the front of the jersey to the "East" lettering and the iconic NBA logo on the shorts. Both pieces are essentially in as-issued and problem-free condition, with no alterations of any description visible, with both the knitted piping on collars and sleeves and silk-screened graphic elements in absolutely perfect condition. A handsomely framed 10-by-8-inch color photograph of the East Team accompanies the piece, complete with a second Havlicek autograph, this time in blue Sharpie on the bottom of the photo. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
