Roughly one year after he announced his retirement, the Press Club of Ohio honored their native son John Havlicek with this attractive commemorative piece that features a 5-by-6-inch image portrait of the Celtic great printed in a simulated golf finish, the same treatment used for all the graphic elements and the text that adorn the huge 15 1/2-by-20-inch presentation. Dated Sept. 7, 1979, the piece also carries the unique distinction of a silver Sharpie John Havlicek autograph placed on the protective glass in the frame. The piece is housed in a wooden frame with gold trim; all elements are essentially in as-issued and problem-free condition. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
