Earned for his eighth and final NBA Championship, John Havlicek’s 1976 Boston Celtics team issued NBA Championship Omega Watch remains in startling pristine condition with original genuine calfskin watchband. These watches were given exclusively to players and team personnel to commemorate the historic win over the Phoenix Suns in 1976, an NBA Championship Series highlighted by what is widely regarded as the greatest NBA game in history, the Celtics 128-126 triple-overtime victory over the Suns in Game Five. The gold-toned watch features the Celtics’ Leprechaun on the face on the right side and “Boston Celtics World Champions” on the left. Green basketballs mark the hours on the face, except for noon, 6:00 and 3:00, where “1976, NBA” and the indicator for day of the week appear respectively. As noted, the watch appears to be in essentially as-issued condition, with no wear whatsoever visible on the wristband, and is in running order. A functional and historically important Championship award from the personal collection of the esteemed John Havlicek.

Comes with an LOA from John Havlicek.
