The care that John Havlicek took in preserving uniforms and memorabilia from his storied career is nothing short of remarkable, and this striking white jersey and shorts from his fifth selection as an NBA All-Star is emblematic of that kind of reverence. While showing good game use, it has been maintained in nearly perfect condition for more than a half-century. Hondo tallied 17 points in the 1970 contest, a defensively challenged 142-135 win for the East team, his fourth win as an All-Star in five tries. The Size 42 Wilson-tagged jersey is blazing white with red lettering outlined in black and embroidered black stars providing a resounding contrast. Havlicek’s autograph appears in black Sharpie on the “7” on the front of the jersey. Both the jersey and the Size 32 Wilson-tagged shorts are in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition, with no alterations of any kind visible and minimal fraying on piping or embroidered letters, the black stars or numbers. This is a phenomenal piece from an extraordinary era that showcased the brightest stars in the NBA galaxy. Includes a LOA from John Havlicek.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
