This is a 10 1/2-inch in diameter Gorham sterling silver commemorative plate from John Havlicek's personal collection, and like so much of the material that he saved over the years it is in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition. With intricate braiding on the edges, the plate features a green shamrock logo at the center encircled by the words "Boston Celtics, 7 Times World Champions." Engravings of "NBA Basketball" and "1964" are found at the top and bottom of the logo; the seven championship years: 1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964, are found individually engraved around the outer edge of the plate. Havlicek supplied his elegant black Sharpie autograph at the front. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
