It's only fitting that John Havlicek would have a high school class ring snazzy enough to hold its own with the vast array of jewelry that he would accumulate over his four years at Ohio State and another 17 years of his fabled NBA career with the Celtics, but this one seems to manage it. Presented to Havlicek upon graduation from Bridgeport (Ohio) High School, the 10K gold ring has a "B" at the center of the face against a black backdrop, flanked by ornate figural elements and "19" and "58," again with gold on black highlights, on either side. No other markings are featured on the shanks other than decorative ribbing. The ring has stampings on the inside of the band that indicate 10K gold and for the manufacturer, Balfour. The ring comes in a small black box with gold highlights. The ring shows some modest wear primarily around the band; the ring and box appear to be in largely as-issued and problem-free condition. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
