Amazing New York Jets circa mid-1960's practice jersey worn and signed by football legend Joe Namath. Broadway Joe wore this green Wilson mesh jersey for practice and photo sessions with the team during the peak of his glorious career. His number '12' has been pressed on the front and back in white, and also on the white sleeves in green. 'NAMATH' is ironed in white on the back green nameplate. The Wilson manufacturers tag is sewn on the bottom left with size 'L'. Namath has signed the back of the jersey on the '2' in thick black marker that has faded over the years but is still clearly visible. Wear and tear is prevalent, especially with the dirt staining in the white stripes over the both armpits.
Magnificent provenance backed by letter from his mother, Rose Szolnoki, that is signed by Broadway Joe himself.
