This Spalding "Official Major League specifications No. 0" baseball is signed by the 1927 New York Yankees starting 3rd baseman, “Jumping Joe” Dugan. Dugan was the Yankees starting 3rd baseman from 1922 through 1928, appearing in an average of over 110 games a year. In 1927 he played in 112 games, hitting .269 with 2 HR and 43 RBI. He has signed the sweet spot "Jumping Joe Dugan" and added the date "June 25, 1981" to the panel directly below—all in black ink that rates 8/10. Only some faint ghosting prevents us from assigning this gem a mint overall grade. The ball itself is in clean, white, “like-new” condition. Dugan passed away in 1982 and singles of him rarely surface.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
