The late, great “Joltin’ Joe” DiMaggio remains one of the greatest New York Yankees players in history. Not only does he still own MLB’s 56-game hitting streak – a record he set in 1941 – but he was a three-time American League MVP (1939, ’41 and ’47). And for good measure he won nine World Series titles with the Bronx Bombers between 1936 and 1951. This lot features a pristine Joe DiMaggio autographed official A.L. (Brown) baseball. The Yankee Clipper signed the baseball centered on the sweet spot in 9/10 dark blue ink.
