Interesting pair of "story" signed baseballs from the historic night of August 19, 1951 when the St. Louis Browns sent midget Eddie Gaedel up to the plate against the Detroit Tigers. Bob Cain was on the mound and walked Eddie on 4 straight pitches. Jim Delsing then pinch ran for Eddie after he drew his walk. On the offered pair of signed baseballs, one from Cain, the other from Delsing, both players have given their first hand recollections of what happened that historic day directly on each baseball. The Delsing is snow white with MLB(Selig) ball with very strong blue ink 9-10/10 quality. The Cain is on a cream/white OAL(Budig) with very strong blue ink 9-10/10 quality. Very interesting pair of autographed balls indeed. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
