Jimmy Carter is a retired American politician who served as the 39th President of the United States from 1977 to 1981 and was awarded the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize. Raised in rural Georgia, Carter was a peanut farmer who served two terms as a Georgia State Senator and one as the Governor of Georgia, from 1971 to 1975. This lot includes a Dudley leather softball signed by Carter in black ballpoint pen on the sweet spot as well as an autographed softcover copy of Carter’s book entitled “Sharing Good Times,” which was a New York Times bestseller. A sticker signed by Carter adorns the inside front page. The softball signature rates 7-8/10, while the sticker signature is a mint 9/10.
