From the Milwaukee Bucks Jay Humprhies comes this wonderful Jeff Hamilton designed reversible leather jacket from his time with the Bucks from 1988-92. Humphries was selected 13th overall by the Phoenix Suns in the 1984 NBA Draft. He was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in 1987. The Bucks traded him to the Utah Jazz prior to the 1992-93 season in exchange for Blue Edwards. Humphries retired in 1995 as a member of the Boston Celtics; he holds career averages of 11.1 points and 5.5 assists per game. The unique jacket is in simply sensation condition, apparently worn by the former NBA shooting guard but still presenting now as largely as-issued and problem-free condition. The reversible nature of the jacket precludes conventional collar tagging, but a Size "M" flag tag appears in one of the pocket insides, along with stamping from designer Jeff Hamilton. One side of the jacket is black leather with black, green, gold and white leather sleeves. A large leather cartoon Milwaukee Bucks logo and team name is sewn to the back, and a much smaller Buck logo appears on the front left breast. As noted the condition is exemplary, jostled on a bit by a tiny 3/4-inch tear in the green leather on the right sleeve. Turned inside out, the matching leather Bucks logo and type appears on the now satin back of the jacket and the smaller version on the front. This version has leather trimmed front with the visible Jeff Hamilton engraved snap buttons; sleeves are now green satin. This is a spectacular and unique collectible for an important star from another era in the NBA.
