Pete Maravich remains college basketball's all-time scoring leader. He was prolific as a pro as well, and presented here is a rare PSA authenticated and encapsulated example the first NBA game that "The Pistol" hit the 50 point mark, dropping an even 50 on the Philadelphia 76ers. Our Atlanta Hawks hero also contributed 6 assists and 3 rebounds in the contest.
The ticket features the cool period logo of the Hawks and on the reverse displays the Hawks TV schedule. No youngsters, not every game was televised back then!
Along with Pete's 'half a hundred' others who starred in the game were Atlanta's Lou Hudson (25 points), 76ers forward Bill Cunningham (45 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists) and Philly center Bob "Golden" Rule (31 points).
