In Super Bowl XXXVII, the NFC Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers blasted the Oakland Raiders, 48-21. With its smothering defense, the Bucs kept Raiders QB Rich Gannon in check for much of the game. In fact, the swarming defense intercepted Gannon a Super Bowl record five times, returning three of the INTs for touchdowns! Tampa Bay safety Dexter Jackson, who had two of those interceptions and returned them for 34 yards, was named Super Bowl MVP. Jackson became only the second safety and third defensive back to ever be named Super Bowl MVP. This lot includes an actual game=used football from Super Bowl XXXVII on January 26, 2003, at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego that Jackson has signed in silver. He’s added his uniform number “34” after his signature. The signature rates a 9-10/10 in our book!

He also designed/produced the Player Participation Trophy and Player of the Game Trophy for the Pro Bowl, as well as the Arena Bowl Championship Trophy. He made it a personal quest to obtain in-person autographs on important memorabilia items at many sporting events wherein he had rare and unusual access.
