It is hard to fathom that just 66 years after the Wright Brothers invented the airplane, the United States put a man on the moon. This original Type 1 photo of this unprecedented historical event is a true work of art. Neil Armstrong stands in the barren moonscape in his space suit. The lunar capsule and the moonscape beyond are artfully reflected in Armstrong’s visor completing this surreal photo. The photo shows toning throughout from age. There are some production crop marks visible from when this event was originally depicted in newspapers. The back of the photo shows the Kodak paper markings. The photo has been encapsulated Type 1 by PSA/DNA.
