The New York Knickerbockers drafted the workmanlike Harry "The Horse" Gallitin and the great athlete toiled for three years in the early 1950's for both the Knicks and the Chicago Cubs. But it was on the hardwood that Gallitin made his mark averaging 13 points and almost a 10 rebounds average over a 10 year career. He was named to the NBA All-Star team for 7 straight seasons and is now in the Basketball Hall of Fame. We present here Harry's game worn jersey from one of his trip's to the All Star Classic. The cream colored dureen pullover jersey features Gallitin's number "11" sewn on both the front and back in blue tackle twill and it features the beautiful six red star-shaped patches flanking the numbers on each side. On the back tail is the requisite "Horace Partridge Athletic Goods 44" tag. LOA from MEARS (Grade A10).
