This museum-worthy photo captures the moment 49ers quarterback Joe Montana goes over for a 1st quarter touchdown against Cincinnati in Super Bowl XVI.

San Francisco would win the game, 26-21 and Montana would take home the first of his three Super Bowl MVP Awards. The front has some edge wear and abrasions to the surface, primarily on the white edge border. The reverse of the photo has the United Press International stamp and a caption slug describing the action. There is some glue residue on the reverse.

The photo has been encapsulated and graded an Authentic Type 1 by PSA.
