Otto Graham was the driving force behind a decade of dominance shown by the Cleveland Browns. From 1946 to 1955, Graham QB’s his Browns to the NFL Championship game every season, winning seven times. This glorious Type 1 photo shows the action in the first quarter of the 1954 championship against Detroit. Otto Graham starts down the line as Pete Brewster blocks LaVern Torgeson. The game would end with Cleveland’s resounding win over the Lions, 56-10. Otto Graham would go on to win another championship in 1955 before being elected to both the College and Pro Football Hall of Fames. The reverse of the photo has the typewritten caption along with credit stamping and handwritten notations in pencil. A wonderful championship action shot of the NFL’s early days. The photo has been encapsulated and graded a Type 1 Authentic by PSA.
