Our consignor is only the second owner of this fresh to market Paul Waner singled signed baseball. The story, as retold by our consignor, is that Paul Waner personally signed this baseball for a long time friend and it would remain tucked away until his passing. It was then given to our consignor who in turn has had it tucked away for many years in his safe deposit box until now. The relatively early passing of Waner in 1965 has left a limited supply of single signed baseball's for this Hall Of Fame player. The Hutch Official League baseball is slightly off white with very bold stampings. The near mint signature of Paul Waner rests on a side panel to the right of the Hutch Official League stamping. A HOF caliber single signed baseball for a HOF caliber collection.
