Harry Pulliam served as president of the modern N.L. from 1903-09. This colorful, square cigar label measures 4-1/2" by 4-1/2" and has been tastefully framed and matted. A small bit of paper damage just below Pulliam's right ear extends slightly into the image of his face and is the most significant condition issue to note. Another small fleck of paper loss appears just above Pulliam's right shoulder as well along with a light but noticeable vertical bend that extends from the bottom of the label to the bottom of the "Pulliam" text in red and white. Framed with a small plaque describing the label and the years harry served as commissioner. A very colorful display piece and early piece of turn of the century baseball memorabilia. VG condition.
