Known as "The Idaho Strong Boy" Harmon Killebrew amassed 573 home runs during his spectacular career with the Washington Senators and Minnesota Twins. Among Killebrew's 22 productive seasons perhaps none was better than 1969. That season Killebrew walloped a career and league high 49 home runs and smacked a career and league high 140 RBI's. He even scored 106 runs himself. With those numbers it is no wonder that he was named to the American League All Star squad one of 11 during his career and was the American League's Most Valuable Player. Here we offer Killebrew's game used first baseman's glove from 1969 his greatest year. No piece of equipment engenders more loyalty for a player than a fielder's glove. As such they are among the scarcest items for collector's to obtain. This Rawlings TNT "Trapper" pro model glove comes directly from Killebrew himself and shows outstanding game use. Killebrew has signed the side "This is from my 1969 MVP season Harmon Killebrew" in perfect black marker. Accompanying the glove is a detailed LOA signed by Killebrew on his own letterhead. Ideal provenance and ideal usage characteristics makes this one of the finest Killebrew gloves one could own.
