Presented here are (5) 1964 Topps baseball cards, signed in vintage ballpoint and nicely authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
All of these baseball legends have passed away (Berra in '15, Drysdale in '93, Murtaugh in '76, Killebrew in '11 & Stargell in '01), making their autographs even more desirable.
Who is working on that signed '64 Topps set?
Provenance: Our consignor collected sports autographs in the late 1960’s through the mid-1970’s while living in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Along with getting autographs at Cincinnati Bengals training camp, Cincinnati Royals NBA games, Cincinnati Reds games and opponents Cincinnati team hotels, he was active mailing to players during these years, including their sports cards, magazine photos and index cards to be signed and returned in stamped self-addressed envelopes. While he quit collecting in the mid-1970's, he always kept his collection nearby, although sometimes packed away for long periods of time. He recently "rediscovered" his collection, and ultimately decided it was time to give his autographed treasures a second life.
